Classic Duke 888

Alf of Alf's Motorcycles was running a Ducati 888 Corsa at the Classic TT. It was ridden by the able Mick Godfrey. Mick was flying in practice with a lap of 113mph. From Alf's Facebook page:



Unfortunately they had engine troubles. Overheating in practice and then an internal knock at the Jurby Festival (the day before the race) prompted and overnight engine change to a standard SP5 unit. The new engine did 3 laps of the Formula 1 race before a broken wire put an end to the valiant effort. Alf say's they'll be back next year.

ManxGP Vid

ManxGP 2012 - Another vid

Here's another I shot on Thursday night from the big bike. A flying lap with a bit of traffic and some damp patches... still managed a 107mph average :-)



Yesterdays cancelled scheduled is to be run today under sunny blue skies. We get 1 lap practice this evening after the classic and Junior races.

ManxGP 2012 - Day 10 - Another Washout

Today's racing and practice after have been cancelled... it's pissin' doon again. Rescheduled for tomorrow.

Give me a chance to sort out some of the onboard footage I've shot... here's my first vid. It was the first lap of dry practice and my second on the big Aprilia. It was a 105mph lap but I only got to Kirkmichael before the battery conked out.

Love this one... all happy in 3rd until Guy Sutherland mugs me on the last turn... and I almost land up in the fence...

He, he, he... found this vid from Redmax Steve of my first race-day on the KTM Flattracker at Rye House last year. Check out those hilarious underseat cans!



Redmax Steve (No.59) is going well... I was battling it out for last place before Skooterfarm Dave Arnold bins it on the last turn. I made the Thunderbike final that day... took me a year to do that again!

Flattrack Buxton - Grand Final Video

Flattrack Buxton - Vids

Had my helmetcam wired up for a few of the heats at Buxton two weekends ago...

Shorttrack Heat 3 - Geoffo gets it all crossed up half-way through... saves it and stops... and then still comes through and pulls a move on me before the finish... red mist! Nice one dood!

Thunderbike Heat 3 - Close quarters combat! This is the race where I got pipped for the last place in the final... I hit No.22's back wheel on the last lap trying to get past.

Got my helmetcam sorted for Erzberg... and made a vid of my first Prologue run (also recorded the second, but the battery ran flat and I lost the vid - dumb-ass recorder!).
