Mike (of MD Racing fame) came over last night to help out with the BAMF. He sorted the wiring in about 30 minutes. We also figured there was a break in the fuel-pump wiring somewhere, so we rewired the pump.
We topped up the water and oil and threw some petrol in. Checked everything over and cranked her over. Within a few seconds she spluttered then burst into life... Candy lives!
I couldn't believe it. She hasn't run in nearly 2 years and had every nut and bolt stripped down and rebuilt. I had to ask Mike whether she was running. We ran her to temp and she sounds smoooooth. This is her second life.
Man! I am soooooo happy!
Mike also sorted the bolt broken off in the wheel with ease. We tackled a whole bunch of other little things and she is now ridable!
Now I got to organise some track time before the 21st...
